Nancy and I still remember and talk about Artie whenever we remember our trips to Chicago and how graciously he treated us whenever we came. Cannot believe it has been 13 years since he left us. Hope all is well with the rest of the family

The mark of a life well lived is being remembered fondly. Artie is remembered fondly.
When my husband and I walk down memory lane, Artie is there, waiting. We retell old stories about him. And, we laugh and sometimes cry. But at least for a little while, we’re all together again. Even if only in our memories. And, sometimes, that’s enough. Artie lives in all of us that knew him.

Whenever Chicago comes up in conversation Nancy and I always think of the fun we had with Artie whenever we came to Chicago. Hopefully the next time we get to Chicago we can find the way to Tinley Park to visit Rocco's. I can assure you that we will never forget Artie.Love to all the family

OMG! I just found this. I'm so sorry for the family. I loved Artie and the whole family. It's hard for me to type right now as tears are flowing from my eyes. He was an Icon of restauranteurs in Chicago and the metro area.

I am so sorry to hear of my good friend Arti's passing. I just found out today. I certainly would have paid my respects if I had known. Actually, not too long ago I told a few of our friends including Jill Cerone Marisi and Tom Facarotta that its been a while since we saw Arti and we needed to make a trip to the restaurant. I remember Jill saying " I just love Arti". We were actually planning to do just that. I really am sorry that we seem to just let these important things go until its too late. God bless Arti, I certainly will miss him.

We are very saddened to hear of Artie passing. Artie will be missed so much. Our hearts are grieving for his wife, children, grandchildren and family. Artie was a friend. We so enjoyed his laughter, smile, touch and his ever devotion to family, work and his baseball team the Cubs. His kindness to my family, especially Dana who worked with him will never be forgotten. Arties love for his grandchildren and his Dances with my grandaughter Mia at Roccos will be missed. Artie thanks for the memories! God bless all of you and comfort you with your grief.
