Arthur Wielkopolan Obituary
Age 86 late of Chicago formerly of Midlothian, IL. Beloved husband of 55 years to late Rosalie (nee Hoffman); devoted father to Tammy (Jim) Wegrzyn, Anthony Wielkopolan, Rebekah Jenny (Obadiah) Israel, Sarah Kathy (late Giorgio) Toulouse Ventola, and late Andrew Wielkopolan; loving grandfather to Amber, Ian, James, Britnee, and great-grandfather of Noah. Predeceased by parents Frank and Bertha (nee Jozwiak) Wielkopolan and sister Florence (late Raymond) Pietrus. Uncle to Nancy (Peter) Barr and late Susan Pietrus. We will fondly remember Art for being friendly, helpful and humorous; his love and care for family, friends, coaching youth sports, White Sox and golf. Flowers, cards welcome or donation in his name to Alzheimer's Association alz.org. Funeral Monday 9:30 AM from the Hickey Memorial Chapel 4201 W. 147th St. Midlothian to St. Christopher/ St Augustine Church for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
