Beloved husband of Ann F. nee Gilpin. Cherished father of Robert (Elizabeth) Steinberg, Sheryl (the late Charles) Peterman, & James (Bernadette) Steinberg. Loving grandfather of Robby (Sarah) Steinberg, Ryan (Mystical) Steinberg, Kevin (fiancé Tracy) Steinberg, & Tyler (Laura) Peterman. Proud great grandfather of 7. Fond uncle of many nieces & nephews. Funeral Saturday, August 16th, 9:15 am from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St. in Oak Lawn to St. Gerald Church for Mass at 10:00 am. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation Friday, August 15th, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Misericordia Heart of Mercy, 6300 N. Ridge Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60660 would be greatly appreciated.
