My deepest sympathy to your family,
I live across the alley from Art and in the last few days realized I had seen no activity from his house in a while, so I thougth I would check the sun-times. Art and I had many conversations at his back gate, stories of snakes in the house(LOL), and stories of his late wife and her love of flowers. Two years ago Art was out in front of his house on his bad knee planting flowers, I told him he was to old for that (LOL) and that I had some flowers that would come back year after year and he would never have to plant again. He told me that he made a promise to his wife to always have flowers out in front and to never cut down the peony bushes out in back.
He was a great neighbor, and I will miss our conversations at his back gate.

Now we have one more Angel to watch over the family. What a grand reunion you will have Uncle Art. Oh what a party I imagine you all are having up there! Here on Earth, for that one day, the tears will flow, we will laugh at the stories told and the memories shared will bring a smile to our faces, but you will be missed always. Give our love to everyone up there for us will you?
