To Max, Sheryl, and Saretta, Please accept my sympathies and condolences. I know that your Dad had a difficult time at the end. One of the things that I am very impressed with about my parents and their generation was how they made friends with other couples when they were young marrieds (or before) and stayed friends throughtout their whole life. You guys may be the exception, but for a lot of reasons our generation is different and our relationships much more transient. I say this because of many good memories of getting together with your family as we were growing up and then seeing your parents on occasion after we were all on our own. Those contacts would reinforce the point I tried to make earlier. "Special " is an overused word but it is the best one to describe those bonds. Again, accept my sympathies. Bernie
