Arnold Barnes Obituary
Arnold Barnes, born 3/30/39 passed peacefully 7/14/2021 joining Lee, his beloved wife, in eternal life. A love of books as teenagers began a lifelong commitment. Their love story was epic. They raised 4 children, Arnold Jr. (deceased) , Lynda, Terrence and Joi. He served as a caring role model to 31 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation descendants. Arnolds passions included bodybuilding, reading, music, theatre, African art and travel. Favorite destinations included N.Y., Europe, Africa and Jamaica. The "Original Clyde Tiger", Arnie worked at Clyde Printing for 55 years and was respected by all. Three generations of the Woulfe family loved and admired him, John Woulfe Jr, calling him his brother. Arnold was a man of high standards, faithful and devoted to his wife and family. His parents were Robert and Zora Barnes. He is survived by his brother, Reginald Barnes. A memorial service will be held from 2-6 PM, Saturday, July 24 at Lakeview Funeral Home,
1458 W Belmont Ave. in Chicago.

Dear Lynda, Joi and Terrence, your father was kind, cultured, smart and strong ... an unforgettable man. Oh, when he got dressed up and got behind his white Mercedes! Only Lee outshone his dazzle.
Thank you for letting us love him like a second father. He is with your beloved mother and T now, may they all be radiant with you. As for me, I will miss him fiercely. Deepest sympathy, Molly
