How well I remember taking piano from Mrs. Grebb, as I used to call her, and competing in the IABA contests at the Arlington Park Hilton in the 1970's. Rest in peace, Mrs. Grebb.

I met Mel in 1979 and we were immediate friends. Her daughter, April, began working with me at that time and we were always spending time together. April and I got married in 1987 and she was more than a mother-in-law, she was more like my adopted mother. We vacationed and socialized together. This is a huge loss to me! I'll never forget her!!

I really miss my adopted mom. I had Mel in my life since 1979 and she was not only my mother-in-law for the past 29 years, but was someone who we socialized with for dinners, movies, and vacations. RIP mom!
