Greg, Andy, and Lisa-
I am so sorry for your loss. I want you to know that we have been thinking a lot about all of you and praying for you. Aunt Arlene was always fun to be around when we were growing up. I looked forward to her visits out to Montana and when we came to Chicago or when we all got together up at the cabin in Minnesota. I loved her laugh and it was clear she was able to connect well with younger people. We can all take comfort in knowing she is reunited with your dad as well as her father, mother, sister and brother. She will be missed and know that Beth and I and the girls are thinking about all of you.

Arlene and my mom, Diane Gamble (married names Brady, then Rohleder), were high school friends who kept in touch their entire lives. I remember Arlene visiting my mom a few days before she passed on in 1992. I still have many neat old pictures of the two of them from their high school days. I always thought their commitment to lifelong friendship was so special. I pray your special memories of your mom comfort you a bit during this difficult transition.
