Anthony J. "Tony" Zambuto Sr., Age 94; Korean Conflict Marine Veteran, at rest February 16, 2025. Beloved husband and best friend of 72 years to Frances "Fran" (nee Giuliana) Zambuto. Devoted father of Sal Sr. (Pam) and the late Tony (Wanda). Cherished grandfather of Sal Jr. (Theresa) and Christine (Anthony) Ramirez. Proud great-grandfather of Lily, Logan and Parker. Fond brother of Dominic (Joyce), the late Charles (late Irene), Lena (late John) Grillo, Salvatore (late Stella), John (Elvira), Mary (late Francis) Tully, Joe Spiri and Sam Spiri. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Tony was a member of the 4th Degree St. Wendelin Council 12841 Knights of Columbus of Shannon, IL. Visitation Thursday 3-8 p.m. Funeral Friday 11:15 a.m. from the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, IL to St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mass 12:00 p.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 would be appreciated. My name is Debbie Byrne and Tony and I your son were very very good friends and I just heard of his passing a few months ago and now I heard your beloved husband has passed away as well.
