Simonelic, Anthony J. age 86, of Plainfield, IL, formerly of Chicago, IL, at rest Tuesday, December 4, 2007, at his home. Born April 3, 1921, in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Frank and Louise Simonelic. Beloved husband of the late Cecelia, loving father of James (Susan) Simonelic, Gloria (Joseph) Iemole and Donna (Michael) Nicholas, cherished grandfather of Anthony (Brittany) Simonelic, Vida Simonelic, Stephanie (Kevin) Cavenaile, Christopher Iemole and Rachel Iemole, dear great-grandfather of Makayla Simonelic, fond brother of George (Irene) Simonelic, Rose Pekol, Louis (Shirley) Simonelic, the late Frank, Joseph, John, Paul Simonelic and the late Sr. Lillian Simonelic and Mary Simonelic. Was a 40 year employee with Zenith Radio Company. Served in the U.S. Army during WWII. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 8th, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 15629 S. Route 59, Plainfield, IL. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL. Visitation Friday, December 7th, from 3 to 9 p.m., at Overman-Jones Funeral Home, 15219 S.
