Its been about 3 weeks since you
left us. And I still hurt like it was yesterday. We had some great and
times together, We laughed, sang and even cried together. I know you truly loved me
because all the abuse I gave you and you never would sock me. I would give anything to have you walk in Jimbos and sock me now. Its not the same anymore not getting your phone calls and you not driving me nuts behind the bar. I miss you with all my heart

Anthony and I are so sorry to hear the loss of Tony. We were out of town and feel awful we missed the wake. He was always a sweetheart to me and a great guy to Anthony and my brothers Jimmy and Tommy. I was going through pictures yesterday and came across a picture of Tony and my brother Jimmy. It was so ironic that I havent seen these pictures in 5 years and came across that one. Its times like this that make me realize you cant take life for granted and appreciate what you have. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.

My deepest condolences to the LaRosa family. I grew up with them on Parnell and from what I hear Tony had turned out to be a really nice guy.

I'll never forget Tony...Great Guy and very generous, we went to Cancun and had a blast...He was carefree and completely original,We will all miss you "T"- My deepest sympathies to his family. Godspeed tony!!!

I was deeply saddened to hear of this sad news. I met Tony the night he had his first pro fight when I was working with Ten Count at the Park West. He was something special that night and I will always remember him as that special person. Words cannot express the loss family and friends feel for one they love...

on behalf of my family i just want to thank everyone for there amazing support through this hard time, the support has been unreal, me and my brother knocked heads alot like any other brothers did, but in the end he was my brother and i loved him, we all did, i cant say thanks enough to everyone, you made a very hard time alittle easier, rest in peace tony your up there with dad, i love you, we all do, see you again one day big brother............

I'm very sorry to hear of Tony's passing. He was a great person who touched many people's hearts and growing up was a wonderful role model. There was nothing that Tony couldn't do. Tony represented Bridgeport and Mr. and Mrs. LaRosa as only Tony could. He will be missed but never forgotten. Jimmy my thoughts are with you. I apologize for not being there.

ROCK, I was shocked to hear about your passing. Guys like you are not supposed to go young. Win or Lose I always enjoyed watching you fight. In all of the years that we have known each other, you have always been nothing less then a stand up guy with a Giant Heart. I remember hanging out at Jimbo's, Comisky, and with you and AG in Bridgeport. The world lost a warrior but Heaven gained an Angel. Rest in Peace Rock.

Rock, it was quite a ride! I thought you would have killed me and Murph a long time ago. I never knew what was going to happen next, but it was always crazy. You were the most unique person I ever had the pleasure to call "my friend". I will miss my phone call on Halloween to "come stand in your window". Say hey to Bobby. To the LaRosa & Salvatore families, I am so sorry and shocked to hear about Tony. Please accept my sincerest condolences and prayers. I met Tony after his fight at Navy Pier 20 years ago. I learned from that day on what a gentleman and stand-up guy he truly was. He always made his way out to the NW Suburbs to pick me up - almost an hours drive usually. Our vice at the time was Ice Cream & Action Movies - what terrific memories I am so blessed to have! It seems like only yesterday. I'll miss him dearly...

I'm so sorry for your loss. I miss Tony, haven't seen him in years. We used to be close friends around 1981 when he used to play basketball at the Boys Club w/ Joey Frugoli. We also used to hang w/ Billy Rolland, Jim Fasula, Tim Arlowe, Sammy Falco, Maria Scalise, Carla Valente, and me. We all became very close, and Tony was the heart throb! We all loved him and knew he would become a great boxer! He was a great friend! It broke my heart to hear of his passing...You are in my prayers. Now he can be with Jerry Y, a friend we lost at 15.

You were like my older brother, and as I got older you were my going out partner, you had a heart of gold , and whatever you had everyone else around you had. To the La Rosa Family;

I am very sorry for your loss. Although I remember Tony playing Nativity football, and from being in girl scouts with Sandra I really first met Tony thru my sister Janeen when they were teens.

I re-met him later, when I did events at the original Studio 31 with the Black Hawks and the Bears. We had some great times at those events and going Downtown afterwards. He and Julio would try their hardest to teach me how to play dice, to no avail.

May your happy memories of him live in your hearts forever. And when you remember them, may they bring smiles to your faces!

It seems like yesterday all the girls and I were going to see him at one of his many Fights. Tony was one of those guys you could not say one bad thing about. He was a stand up guy. tony larosa i first met you in 1988 at the prairie state games.you were boxing for the lightheavyweight title representing chicago. my son tony ciaravino was playing basketball and representing chicago on the city all star team. you and tony became good friends.you always respected my wife sharon and me.we will pray for you and your family.p.s. you and my son tony both won gold mettles and we had a good time at the university of illinois.your friends gappy and sharon ciaravino.

My deepest sympathy, I worked Tony's corner a couple of times in Europe. He was a good boxer, an excellent person, and I have great memories of him.

Tony was a sweet and fun guy. I have not seen him in a very long time but I will remember him always.

I will always remember Tony as a respectful guy. He always had fun & had some pretty interesting stories of his boxing days. My brothers were boxers in Tony's early days & they shared his love of the sport. No matter where his path led him he is resting in peace now & won't b forgotten.
