LaPorte, Anthony M. beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Cunningham), loving father of Jane (Jim) O'Brien, Patricia (Michael) Powers, Bernard M. (Linda) LaPorte and the late Penny, dear grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of 11, fond brother of Phyllis (late Frank) Messina. Visitation 8:30 a.m., Thursday, until prayers at 10:30 a.m., at the John Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 7020 W. 127th St., to Incarnation Church. Mass 11 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Little City, 1760 Algonquin Rd., Palatine, IL 60067. 708-461-4235.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
