Creative guys meet in the strangest places! A few years ago when I was in Chicago I called Tony for lunch cause we hadn't seen each other for awhile.
We met at a soul food restaurant. Nothing to fear! Had a rip-roaring time talking about the future and working together again...he was that kind of guy and I'll remember Tony...

My deepest sympathies to Tony's family and friends. I never met Tony but if he was anything like my band mate, Tony's son Anthony, then he must have been a great guy.

Tony has been a part of our family for 3 years, sharing many fond memories. We adored him and I thank him for his love for Susan, my sister. He has taught her to always pursue her dreams no matter what obstacles may happen along the way. He was passionate about his job and lived life to the fullest. I know that he is in Good Hands and I thank him for being my sister's best friend. Enjoy your new life. You will be missed.

To all of the Izzo family -

I was so saddened to hear of Tony's passing. I consider myself very privileged to have worked with Tony, as he was one of the first to give me chance and extend the kind of trust and advice that only experience can bring. He had a big heart -

And to Anthony - my thoughts are with you and the family old friend. You showed amazing poise and determination when last we spoke, and you always inspire me with your ability to look for the bright side, and keep everything in perspective. I wish you peace in this time of grief, and hope for the time soon where your family can remember the smiles and joys, and the true character that was Tony.

All my best,

Craig

Vince, and Izzo family. I was very sorry to hear of Tony,s passing. I have known him for years going back to our high school days at St Philip.
I remember Tony as a jovial person and we always had a great time when ever we met. Funny thing every time I thought about him I would run into him somewhere. My prayers go out to all of you.

To the Izzo family, deepest condolences on Tony's passing. And to you, Anthony, well, your Dad raised a fine son, you so took care of your Dad to the final day, we all hope to be so lucky some day.

I remember back in August your email about your Dad after the Hummel thing. That brought tears to my eyes, and now it does again.
You mentioned at the time the he was so grateful for "his" community to be helping him out. It certainly was his community, and we all enjoying life in this community today can always be grateful to him and his other buddies that are now in the AICE Hall of Fame. We would be nowhere without them.

He said he couldn't wait "to get back in the chair." I think he's there, Izzo family.

Our hearts are out to you all,

Tom Duff

Dear Izzo family. I am so sadden to hear about Tony's passing. He was a dear friend of mine. We shared being inducted into the Editor's Hall of Fame
together. Tony started out in the film busness working at Galco Labs with my brother Joe back in the 50's. Because of Tony Caputo the real God Father.
Tony and I started our own companies
about the same time Edit Chicago and
Editor's Choice. We had some great years together.Tony will be missed.

Dear Bill, Anthony and the entire Izzo family.
It is with great sadness that I hear of Tony's passing. He was a mentor to me in the film business and a father figure as well for a twenty-something editor trying to get a career started. I always held Tony in high esteem. I enjoyed seeing him a few years back at the AICE gathering that inducted him into the AICE Hall of Fame.
My thoughts and prayers at this time of loss.
Sincerely, Chris Claeys

Dear Anthony, Vince, Liz, Diane, Bill & the entire Izzo Family,

I am so sorry to hear about Tony's passing. Please accept my sincere sympathy and condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Big Tony, the family patriarch. He will be sadly and sorely missed.

I also give special recognition to Anthony for his devotion and extraordinary efforts in Tony's time of need, and to Liz for her sacrifice in becoming a loving caregiver. Blessed are the caregivers for it is they who truly care, and although they toil in the most difficult and heartbreaking of times, they are the ones who are blessed with those last precious moments and with the comfort that they did all that they could do to help their loved one.

As you know, I was close to Tony for many years. We had many good times together, including several visits at his office and studio (Edit Chicago), his Chicago and Marco Island homes, and during the years when he had his boat at Hammond Marina. I was very fond of, and had much respect for, Big Tony - the creative and talented artist, the fair and honest businessman, but first and foremost, the man. He was a good friend. His warm and generous spirit will never be forgotten. I am so sad to hear of his passing.

With Deep Sympathy and Sincere Condolences,

Jimmie Smith

Billy, Diane, Liz, and Anthony,

I am very saddened of the death of your Dad, my cousin and godfather. He was a great man. I have such wonderful memories of your Dad and of you guys when we were all a lot younger. Your Grandmother and Grandfather, Angie and Bill were two of the most wonderful people to me when I was growing up, I will never forget all the good times that we had.. We were all very very close. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you and your families, as you have lost a great father. I hope that you all can go on with the memories, as I am sure there are a lot of great times that you remember. Love to all
