Anthony Astrella Obituary
Anthony F. Astrella, passed away on June 24, 2023 at the age of 75. Anthony was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 26, 1947 to the late Samuel and Clara Astrella, née Myrtle. He is also preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Diane Astrella and his sisters, Rosemarie and Violet.
Anthony is survived by his first cousins Rosetta, née Astrella, Joseph Petrecca, Louis Astrella and Rosenne Cacioppo; 2nd cousins, Mark Astrella (Aggie) and their daughter Alyssa. He is also survived by Chris Zins and his wonderful family (wife, Kristy; daughter, Sophia; and son, Landon) who were always there for Tony and Diane no matter the situation; and Kristy Geaz-Mcloughin and Shawn Mcloughlin, whom Tony and Diane met through adopting there Dog Bella-a beautiful friendship was born.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a gathering to be held at Valley of the Sun Mortuary, 10940 E Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248, on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 5-8pm with Rosary service at 6:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held the following day, Friday, July 7, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Juan Diego Catholic Church, 3200 S Cooper Rd, Chandler, AZ 85286. Anthony will be laid to rest with his wife, Diane, in Valley of the Sun Cemetery.
