Anne Updegrove Obituary

Best halfback at CORNELL´S Women´s Rugby. Glad we flew back from Hawaii and had a meaningful relationship. Think of Anne often. Nice to have a Saint I can pray to.

Dr. Anne Updegrove was a genuinely kind person and doctor who helped me through a very difficult period that I strongly feel I would not have been able to work through without her guidance. In the short time that I knew her, she made an indelible impression on me and I will never forget her.

I dated Anne when we were in high school in Easton, PA. Such a lovely, sweet person. It was a big shock to hear of her untimely passing,

I called Dr. Updegrove to see how she was doing after having no luck, went online to search for her. I only just found out about her death. I am deeply sorry to hear of her passing. She helped me through a very difficult period after the death of my daughter and she did it out of the kindness of her heart. She even went to court with me during the trial of those who are responsible for my daughter's death. I missed her without the knowledge of this loss, and knowing now that she's gone, I will miss her always.

i send prayers for comfort and strength to the entire Updegrove/Holmbeck family, particularly to andy, my classmate for many years. i too am a clinical psychologist and a survivor of a non-malignant brain tumor. i want you all to know that i am sorry for your loss. just trying to make contact and offer positive words.

I just heard the terrible news of dear Anne's passing. Our thoughts are with the entire Updegrove/Holmbeck family. We are so sorry.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Anne went to high school with me. She always had a radiant smile and sweet way about her. My deepest condolences to Anne's family. I worked with Anne during her internship year at Ravenswood Hospital in Chicago. I felt that I really knew her clinical work as well as knowing her personally.

Anne was an excellent, skilled clinician who I admired. I know that she made a difference in the lives of her clients and students. In addition to being thoughtful and intelligent, I found Anne to be so enjoyable given her warmth, playfulness and geniuneness.

She made a difference and we will all miss her.

I did not know Anne but new Dr.John Sr. from working at Easton Hospital.. A very kind and Nobel doctor. My Prayers go out to you Dr.John and your family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Grayson, the children, and other friends and family members. She was a graduate school classmate, who we remember as a fun, smart and driven person. She could play football with the guys and enjoy wine-tastings with the girls. It is clear she went on to have a terrific career and full family life. We are so sad to learn of her untimely death. Peace to all who mourn her.

I am so deeply saddened to hear about Anne. It has been a long time since grad school but I remember both of you so well and had such admiration for Anne. This is such a tremendous loss.

Dear Anne's family, please know I share your sorrow at this sad, sad time. I graduated high school with Anne and spent a great deal of time with her at College Hill Presbyterian Church where I was also a member. I always enjoyed her company - she was so smart, always fun and upbeat and a genuine soul. My mother (Grace Halbing-Ealer) and I have been grieving her loss since we heard. My sympathies to Anne's family. I went to Easton High School with Anne. She was a sweetheart, full of life and always has a smile, and has left this earth to early. Another angel above to soon to guide and watch over us.

Anne and I were friends through tennis back in our high school days, and she was always a charming, wonderful person who will no doubt be missed by all who knew her. I occasionally heard of her achievements over the years, and am truly saddened to hear of her untimely passing.
