Sr Anne was a wonderful gift to me in the growing and maturztion of my faith in God. She was always first and foremost a steadfast woman of God. I am fortunate beyond measure to have encountered her on my faith journey. Sr Anne was the first person to walk with me through th bible so that I could relate my life experiences to to it and it's lessons/teachings. Sad though I am, I applaud her transition after a long and faithful life. She stands before His mighty throne loaded and surrounded by the fruits that she has laid there. Well done Annie! Well done and welcome home. xoxo

I do not remember Sister Anne Mayer...maybe she had a special name from the order (SSND), but I distinctly do remember my 7th grade Notre Dame teacher at St. Alphonsus School in the 1940's. If Sister was there for the 10 years I attended elementary & commercial H.S. there, I may have known her. My 7th grade nun was Sr.M.Salutaria..and we kept in contact until the day she passed away at about 95 yrs., and we were notified from the nuns who were told to let us know. The SSND nuns were very dedicated, and I treasure the days I spent with them...truly good years in my young life! God Bless Sister Anne Mayer and all the good she did in her wonderful long lifetime..I'm sure all who were in touch with her feel blessed. Veronica Gillis
