Anna Tomassini Obituary

Tomassini, Anna (nee Ciampaglia) Passed unexpectedly on Friday, February 26. Loving wife of Antonio Tomassini (deceased); loving mother of Mary Ann (Carmen) Passi, Mark (Carla Racanelli) Tomassini; cherished Nonna of Cara, Alexander, Mark and Angelina; dear sister of Rosa Ciampaglia and Dominic (Margaret) Ciampaglia; aunt of many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews; friend to many. Funeral mass is on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke's Parish, River Forest. Visitation is Wednesday from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Salerno's Galewood Chapels located at 1857 N. Harlem Ave, Chicago. Interment is at Mount Auburn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the American Heart Association. For info, 773-889-1700.

Dear Mark and Mary Ann, We are so sorry of hear of your mom's passing. Fifty years or so have passed since I worked with her at A. Stein and company, in Chicago, and in Des Plaines. It seems like yesterday. May she rest in Peace. God bless you and your family.
