GLOUCESTER — Anna M. (Fazio) Jordan, 80, a longtime resident of Gloucester, formerly of Medford and Beverly, died peacefully after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Paul H. Jordan Sr.
She was born in Somerville, daughter of the late Angelo and Margaret (Sarcia) Fazio. Anna grew up in Medford and graduated from Medford High School with the class of 1946.
Anna loved her sons and enjoyed swimming, knitting, dining out, dancing, Indian décor and the company of her many friends. She was a member of the Widow and Widowers of the Addison Gilbert Hospital, Council on Aging, Rose Bake Senior Center, the Beverly Senior Center and the YMCA of North Shore Women's Water Aerobics.
She is survived by her loving sons, Paul H. Jordan Jr. and his wife Nancy of Bridgewater, Peter F. Jordan and his wife Lisa of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Thomas and Kalen Jordan of Bridgewater, Trevor Chase of West Virginia, Gigi Jordan of Pennsylvania; her brothers, Joseph Fazio and his wife Irene of Danvers, Angelo Fazio and his wife Beverly of New Hampshire; sister-in-law Connie Fazio of Barnstable; many nieces, nephews; her dear friend Gloria Harrington of Medford; and close friend Leo Frisella of Gloucester. In addition to her husband Paul, she was predeceased by her brother Domenic Fazio.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held from the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St., Gloucester, on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Ann's Church, Gloucester, on Saturday at 10 a.m. The burial will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in Anna's name to the American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Road, Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451.

I am so sorry for your loss. Anna will be missed terribly by myself and my family, but she will always hold a special place in our hearts. We have many great memories of visiting Anna at the beach and having such a wonderful time.

I am so sorry for your loss. Anna was so full of life I have wonderful childhood memories with all of you, from Medford, Beverly,etc. Now Chickie has one more person to cook for at that big table in the sky.
