Anna Aslanidis Obituary
Aslanidis, Anna V. (nee Karatianos), beloved wife of the late William G. Aslanidis, loving mother of Helen (John) Praxoulis in Greece, Kelly (Emmanuel) Alexandrakis, George (Bessie) Aslanidis and Angela (Christos) Kasapakis, proud grandmother of 11, great-grandmother of 3, dear sister of Marina, fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave. Family and friends will meet Tuesday morning, at St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, 5649 N. Sheridan Rd., Chicago, for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Monastery of Panagias Plagias in Pylon-Karpathos, Greece in c/o of the family would be appreciated. Arrangements by John G. Adinamis Funeral Director, Ltd., 773-736-3833.
