I still can´t believe it had been 11 years since Anita passed. She lived across the street from us before she married Santo, my orthodontist. May her memory be eternal.

Anita was always such a warm and generous lady. Our family will miss her dearly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

We were fortunate to meet Anita when my parents moved to Natchez Court. We would always see her outside in her yard working endlessly on her beautiful home but she always stopped to take the time to talk and share a story, smiling all the while and making you smile too. When my Dad was sick with cancer, she was so concerned and there for him and I know that Dad is there for her now. She was a very caring person and a beautiful lady with a wonderful heart. It is hard to drive past her home and not see her out in her yard. Our family misses her already. Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies.

Anita will always have a special place in my heart. Even in my own times of sorrow, she always knew how to make me laugh. I will miss her terribly. At least now she is at peace.

I lived across the street from the Serritellas in the 60's, and Santo was my orthodontist! Anita was so petite and darling, with those big brown eyes. I got to know Anita and Vince the best, and enjoyed talking to them whenever I saw them, which was a while back since I live in Northbrook now. I am in shock at her passing, since she was only one year older than I, but cancer strikes indiscriminately. It took my sister, Dea, whom Anita also knew, at age 53. May her memory be eternal. Would everyone please raise their glass of scotch and join me in a cheers to an incredible women. She was always full of life and passionate about her family. I imagine Anita and Santo together again sipping champagne and looking down on the wonderful family and legacy they created. She will be remembered fondly by many.

Dear Francesca, Paul and Vince,
Anita loved her family so much. I know she's with Santo, Ruth and Rocco. What a dear friend I have lost--how I will miss all the conversations we shared. She wanted me to write poems for her doctors to thank them for all their loving care--she was always thinking of others.
My deepest sympathies on the passing of Anita.

Anita, we talked last week and you said you would be OK.... The wedding went well, Vince and Stephanie had a great time. I gave them your message. I was going to call you to fill you in when I got the call of your passing - needless to say - I was shocked! I'll miss you cuz - we chatted a lot, laughed often and enjoyed a good scotch. Your up there with a bunch of my friends... enjoy the view and the party. RIP - love, Jim Serritela
