Angeline Muday Obituary

Muday, Angeline Renee

Angeline Renee Muday, beloved daughter, sister, cousin, niece, mentor, nurse, and friend passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023. She is survived by her brother, James ("Nick") Muday, as well as her many family members and dear friends. She was 56 years old. Angie was born and raised in Plymouth, Indiana. She was a graduate of Plymouth High and later, Purdue University. She moved to Chicago, Illinois to work for Leo Burnett in Public Relations and worked in that field for many years. She took a sabbatical from her career to care for her parents, James and Janet Muday. It was this chapter in her life that led her back to Chicago to pursue a career in nursing at Rush University Medical Center. She loved her second career as a nurse and the talented and dedicated nursing community she became a part of at Rush. Angie was devoted to her patients, as she was to her family and friends. Recently in her life, Angie embraced travel and made a habit of traveling to New York City with family and friends making special memories on each trip. She loved without reserve and gave of herself without hesitation. A Celebration of Life gathering to honor Angie's remarkable impact on family, friends and her community of fellow nurses at Rush is scheduled to take place from 10:30am to 2:30pm on Saturday July 15th, 2023 at the Le Jardin Room in Cantigny Park 1S151 Winfield Rd, Wheaton, IL. All friends and family are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, the Muday family would appreciate donations in Angie's honor to: Nurses Helping Nurses, 7128 W.
