Angel was my dads older brother and a great uncle to me, we spoke often and laughed until our bellies hurt or I was about to have an asthma attack from laughing so much. We made fun each other respecfully and crack up about it. I sent him Bible verses every morning to help brighten his day and he loved it, while in the hospital, I prayed for him and also made him laugh. I know I will see my uncle again when my time comes as I know he went to heaven. I have peace in my heart knowing he is finally sleeping peacefully. I will forever love him and miss his weekly calls

My deepest condolences to Miriam and the family. Mr. Perez was loved by all who knew him, and was a great friend and colleague to my late husband Bill Leavy at Greater West Town Community Development Project. At Greater West Town, Mr. Perez helped so many people in the community find jobs and build futures for themselves and their families. He was truly one of my heroes. We celebrate the gift of his life.
