Dear Gober Family, I just received the news and I'm so heartbroken. Andrea was a precious soul and I will always remember her beautiful smile and kind heart. She took such care of my pup Desi when I lived in Chicago....and I was so grateful for her presence in our lives while I served at the Lutheran School of Theology. Sending you love, light and prayers. <3

Andrea was extremely kind, generous and warm. I got to know her as my dog's groomer, but she became my friend. Always an angel to animals, my dog loved her. She and I had a lot of laughs together and I always looked forward to seeing her. She will be missed and now there is one more angel in the heavens.

Andrea was a true gift to our dogs for many years. She graciously took in our often mean-tempered Romeo who probably no one else would have taken when we were away. We have missed Andrea already in Hyde Park when she moved and know just have lucky we were to have known her. We are deeply saddened by Andrea's death and send our deepest condolences to her family.

Andrea was a friend to everyone,as my son Ashbey stated it. How true! I remember her helping and talking to those most walked by,the homeless. She knew them by name and shared whatever she could, even if it was just a kind greeting. She took the time to think of others. Among all the time I was fortunate to spend with Andrea, she never missed giving out a compliments to me and others. She was sincere and constantly made others feel good about themselves. She has passed this wonderful trait on to her children.I am very grateful for the beautiful memories and her introducing me to my Fiancee. I shall never forget my dearest Andrea!
