Ambrose Robert Harling, age 76, United States Marine Corps Veteran, passed away September 18, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Patsie Redener Harling. Former husband of Glenda Harling and Karen Harling. Loving father of Ambrose (Jami) Harling, John Harling, Gary (Christina) Harling, and Leslie (Arthur) Ventura. Cherished grandfather of six. Dear brother of Patricia Jones, Sharon Slavicek, Bonnie (Jeff) Salamon, and Colleen (Tom) Stonis. Visitation Friday, September 24, 2021 at the McKenzie Funeral Home, 15618 S. Cicero Avenue, Oak Forest, Illinois from 3:00 pm until time of Funeral Service at 8:00 pm. Interment Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. For information: 708-687-2990

Bro loved his children with all of his heart! Gary, Leslie, Johnny, and Bobby were the loves of his life! He was in awe of his grandchildren! His heart overflowed with love! He was so very proud of all of you! He felt extremely blessed!
Oh for the love of the Carnival! He absolutely loved going to the carnival! We would go every season! No matter where or how far! We had to stop! It was his passion to share with family! Especially his children! The games always drew him in! Winning the biggest prize was the goal! But especially to share this passion with his children was the ultimate for him to do! He loved the carnival!
