Miss you more than ever, my best friend.

My dearest best friend,
I miss you more than ever. So many times this past year I thought of you and realized you were the only person who could comfort me... so I try to remember what you would say. Thinking of you makes me smile. I love you always. You were and are a sister to me. I am so grateful for our time together. Amanda, thank you for being you. Love you.

One of your fave food holidays is coming up and I will be enjoying a beer for you ❤

Amanda. There are no words that can describe how grateful I am to have known you, nor are there enough words to describe how sorely you are missed. I lost my sister 4 years ago. Nothing will ever be the same.

I bought some Easter eggs, remember all the times we made baskets for ourselves as teenagers? Even though Sue always gave you the best ones! We just liked crafting!
Every day when I look at my planner, i remember your pride in your perfect ones.
I remember our trips to office max to find you one every time, as I rolled my eyes and tried to hurry you every time... i swear it took you hours to find the perfect one! I get one every year, and Cynthia follows me around the store, I look back and laugh at her every time.. the torture!! Xoxo

I had a bowl and laughed when I ordered chips and queso.... you would have loved the queso... and maybe a side of guac....

My best friend since kindergarten when we used to hide in the coat closet and eat boogers together...
You were always a giving person, sweet to the core and the funniest time.
I cherish you, our memories, our laughs, giggles and cries together. Through grade school, through high school and in our young adult adventures...
as adults, we grew apart but I never stopped thinking about you through the years. I just googled your name after googling it so many times. I love you.

Dear Amanda, tomorrow will be 6 months since you left me. My heart still aches and I pray to wake-up and you still with me. That is the hardest part to each day, realizing I'm in reality. I miss you my precious angel. Love, Mom

Dear Amanda, It will be three months tomorrow that I have not seen or heard from you.

I still am in such denial and continue to want to believe, you're just busy or on vacation. I read our texts to each other almost every day, it makes me feel in your presence.

Obviously, my coat of armor is still on. I'm afraid to take it off in fear of what I'm going to experience and feel. So I will continue to live in my "denial" bubble. I was told it is here to protect me. I continue to pray that this is just a dream, that I will wake-up and you'll be by my side. Every morning I wake-up and you are not, but I refuse to give-in. Maybe if I pray hard enough.....

Dearest Suzette, I'm so sorry for your loss. Amanda always spoke very highly of you, you raised a beautiful, loving and intelligent daughter. We will miss her greatly. Amanda was a beautiful person inside and out. May she now be your angel as you were hers.
