Allen Webb Obituary
Allen Jay "Al" Webb, age 78 of St. Charles, passed away on September 25, 2021. Beloved husband of 56 years to Madoline nee Newcomb; loving father of Richard (Jodee) Webb and Sheryl Webb; proud grandfather of Amber Webb; dear son of the late Richard and Jane Webb; fond brother of the late David (Patricia) Webb, Linda (John) Wilson and Jane (Sherrill) Wohlwend; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Al enjoyed working on genealogy and volunteered at the Historical Society of St. Charles and Geneva. He also volunteered at the Elburn Library in the genealogy department. In his early career, Al developed computer systems and then began selling computers until his retirement. A memorial visitation will be held at DuPage Memorial Chapel (951 W. Washington Street, West Chicago) on Friday, October 1, 2021, from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (donate3.cancer.org).

Madoline and family. My condolences on your loss. I worked with Allen at H&R Block quite a few years ago at Charlestowne Mall. And not so long ago as a KCGS member. Allen kept himself busy doing cemetery research and other volunteer work. He willingly gave me computer advice when I had questions. I missed not seeing him around.
May God comfort and give you peace at this time.
