Roth, Allen H. age 69, of Northbrook, Construction Consultant and Co-Founder/Principal Partner of Home Warranty of America; beloved husband and best friend for 45 years of Karen nee Potashnik; loving father of Marc (Lisa) and Mitchell (Robin); adored Papa of Sammi, Zachary, Sydney, Spencer and Shaylee; treasured brother of Vivian Roth (Mel) Sacks and the late Jerry; devoted son of the late Sam and Belle; special uncle of Jennifer Sacks. Allen will be dearly missed by many dear friends. Service Thursday 12 Noon at Temple Chai, 1670 Checker Rd., Long Grove. (1 blk W. of Arlington Hts Rd). Interment Shalom Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions to HWA Family Foundation (dedicated to children's charities), 1371 Abbott Ct., Buffalo Grove, IL 60089. I just read about Al's death and want to extend to Karen, Markand Lisa my deepest sympathy. It's been some time since I've seen you all. I knew Al from my days of working at Viceroy. He was always a warm, friendly guy with a heart full of love. I always enjoyed when he came to the office to do business and visit. My deepest condolences to you on your loss. Mark and family,I was sadden by the news last night,when Marcia told me of the passing of your father.Having known you and your family over the past few years.I can just imagine what a great guy he was.Mark,you and Lisa and the kids are always sweet,fun and polite.Everytime we bump into each other you make me laugh and are real not fake like others.The joke about the spanish teacher still makes me laugh.I will try and see you at the house.If not god bless you and your family during this time. It has been 6 1/2 years since I lost my father and a year and a half later I lost my Mom.But remember Mark they are not lost! You like myself will think about them everyday.
