I have fond memories of Allen; he befriended me when we were in grade school.
Allen to me was as down to earth as is humanly possible. A beautiful person.

My condolences go out to you all. I was stunned to hear the news of Al's Passing today at Ulbrich from Mike Stortz. I had worked with Al and Glenn here at Ulbrich many years ago. We have also continued with G+M Concrete both at work here and on several personal projects. Al's work, personality and great laugh will be missed! My sympathies are with your family on their loss, Big Al rest well!

My most sincere sympathy goes out to the Mortensen family. I've known Al since the Cattle Company days, than Heart Throb, G.O. Fitz and now our dinner club. I've always looked forward to his smile and sense of humor. I was lucky to meet Jeanne and share fun times with both at our monthly dinners. Al will be greatly missed!!
