My deepest condolonces to Al's family. I had the pleasure of knowing Al for about 15 years, worked with him directly for five years. He was a outstanding boss and friend. He will be missed. We had many happy times together on boat rides on the rivers of south Louisiana. Rest in peace.

To the family of Al Napolitano, I want to say how sad I am to hear that he passed away. I received the news yesterday in an email that was originally sent to Lee Perkins and passed on to me thru Val Coor.
I met "Big Al" in 1991, when I went to work at the Carville Hospial and he was already there. He was another one of the many great personalities I encountered since I began working there almost 19 years ago. But make no mistake, Al Napolitano was one of a kind. He was always up to something interesting and a lot of fun to hang out with. I want to thank and give credit to him and the other great NHDP-Computer Services personel, especially Lee and Val, that have followed and carried on the legacy that Al established. He would be proud. Rest in peace big fella. Your friend always, Bill Fisher

I remember Al from the touch football games at Welles and Independence Park. I also attended many a Medieval Times and BananAppeal concert/sock hop. We even played some serious poker for about a nickel a bet.
We'll miss you, Al.

My deepest sympathies to the family. I met Al when he was in the Medieval Times with my boyfriend and now exhusband Jim Perhne. Al had a great sense of humour and I am sad to learn of his passing. Kathy (Koclanis) Horan

My thoughts are with you at this sad time. So many fond memories of Al from our high school days and the Medieval Times - rehearsals in the basement and gigs around Chicago, with Al on the drums and being the backbone of the group. Know, in this time of sorrow that he lives in the hearts of all who know and remember him with a smile - his beat goes on...
