Dear Kathy and Monica: Our deepest sympathy to you on the loss of Allan. We just learned of his passing and were so sorry to hear the news. He was much too young to go. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

To the Malec family - Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of Al. He was always someone I knew I could call on if needed. Although he will be greatly missed, it is comforting that he is with his Higher Power in a good place.
With deepest sympathies,

Dear Monica and Kathleen,
I was extremely saddened to hear of the loss of Allan. He was always a very nice guy to me and to every one of us who invaded your home and appreciated the laughter, warmth, and hospitality there. I hope and trust that God watches over him now.
Sincerest Sympathies --- Mark Filip and Family.

Al, you will be truly missed. The promises will not be the same without you. You were one the few voices of reason and wisdom. Seeing you always made us smile. The world has been a sunnier place with you in it. Even though we'll miss you, we feel comforted knowing you are up there looking over us (probably laughing and making jokes). P.S. We'll take care of the next dinner check!

To the Malec Family,
My deepest sympathies to you on the terrible loss of Allan. We worked together at Humes FH, and he was always a joy and pleasure with which to work. I spoke to Allan about a year ago, just checking up on him and his bike and the birds. He was a kind and considerate man and one I am proud to say was a friend of mine. He will be missed by all. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless Allan Malec. I'll miss you.

Allan, you were one of the neatest people to come into my life. We had a lot of good times, but one of my favorite memories is our beaver hunting adventure with my family in WI! I learned so much from you & you helped me grow in so many ways. I have so many wonderful things in my life now & a lot of that I can thank you for. Although our time was short, I enjoyed sharing my life with you & being part of yours. You will most definitely be missed by many. My thoughts & prayers are with the Malec family.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there, I do not sleep
I am the thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle Autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.

Although I met Al only a few times, I now feel I know something that wasn't mine.

Al was a very special guy, we were lucky to have him in our lives for the short time we did.
I feel blessed to have known him, but feel comforted in knowing that I can still talk to him anytime I want now that he is in heaven.
