Klasser, Allan

Allan Klasser, 82, of Lincolnwood, IL, passed away on October 14, 2023. He was born on June 14, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois. Allan, a loving father and grandfather, will be deeply missed by his loving wife Tanya, son Joseph Ferguson (Margaret King), daughter Beth Dolinsky (David Dolinsky), and granddaughter Dorothy Dolinsky. He was preceded in death by his father Hyman Klasser, mother Sadie Klasser nee Bloomfield, brother Edwin Klasser, and brother George Klasser.

Allan had a passion for theater, music, art, and travel. He was known for his kind and generous nature, and his love for his family was unparalleled. Allan's educational journey included attending Kilmer Primary School, Sullivan High School, and the University of Illinois Chicago.

Having served in the United States Army, Allan had a distinguished military career. He was proud of his service and the camaraderie he shared with his fellow soldiers.

Professionally, Allan worked as a Systems Analyst at Arthur Anderson, where he made significant contributions throughout his career.

Services to honor Allan's life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Jewish United Fund (https://www.juf.org) or Chicago Public Television (https://interactive.wttw.com/), as these were causes close to Allan's heart.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. May Allan's memory be a blessing to all who knew him.

Just finding out about my first cousins passing I just wanted to say rest in peace including the two brothers and parents. My cousin Allan taught me board games and built me a crystal radio purchased at allied. Not radio shack allied it worked my times his mother Sadie my aunt would make Friday nite suppers and he would be at the table. Allan we lost the mojo during your later years but my love abounds as a first cousin and family. Cousin Howard. Xo

Cousin Allan Howard molen. Just found out of your passing. We grew up together with your father and mother as mentors. The many suppers on foster avenue including your mother's friend Julia. But but the best memory I can share with you you built me a crystal radio from allied. It worked and I remember the rejoicing. In closing I remember when you met Tanya and you became whole. Rest in peace my first cousin. Howard. [email protected]. Xoxo
