Alice M. Valleyfield nee McCambridge. Age 83. Of Tinley Park, IL formerly of Mt Greenwood and Roseland Communities. Beloved wife of the late Robert, CPD. Loving mother of James (Pamela) and Russell Valleyfield. Proud grandmother of Ryan, Megan, Alyssa (Connor) LaPretre, Jenna, Emma and James. Fond aunt and great aunt of many. Alice was preceded in death by her 3 brothers. Visitation Friday, August 25, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Maher Funeral Home, 17101 S 71st Ave, Tinley Park, IL 60477. Funeral service Saturday, 10:00 am at the Funeral Home with Interment to follow at Mt Greenwood Cemetery, Chicago. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Alzheimer's Association | Donate to Fight Alzheimer's Disease or the Dementia Society of America Donate - Dementia Society of America (charityproud.org) . I am so sad to learn of Alice´s death. What a wonderful, kind, compassionate woman she was. She babysat for my three children and they loved her like a grandma... And she was a source of strength for me during one of the most trying times. I´m sad she is gone from this world, but I´m so thankful to have known her. I´m keeping your family in my prayers.
