Alice Price Obituary
She was born on June 12, 1941 near Amity, the daughter of Albert Franklin and Jessie Chancellor Franklin. On November 24, 1960, she was married to Clovis Price. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Joe Franklin, Roland "Windy" Franklin, Jimmy Franklin and Charles Herbert Franklin; and one sister, Nancy Franklin.
She was a member of the Mount Ida Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Clovis Price of Mount Ida; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey and Penny Price of Magnet Cove, and Michael and Catherine Price of Mount Ida; three grandchildren, Joseph, Jeane and Joshua Price of Magnet Cove; one brother, Loyd Franklin of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Louise Franklin, Brenda Franklin and Linda Watts of Rosboro; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 17, 2004 in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with John Hall and Walter Golden officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Interment will be in the Jones Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.

Clovis, Jeff and Mike,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. Alice was always a joy to see, most especially when she was cheering for her two boys. I see now where she got her wit and spunk, I never knew she was the sister of "Windy" Franklin, he was a joy as well.
