Holzheu (Mellin), Alice E. age 77 of St. Louis Park. Born Jan. 21, 1928 in Minnetonka to Alfred and Jenny (Norder) Mellin. Preceded in death by beloved husband, Max; infant daughter, Gloria; parents, five brothers, two sisters, grandson, Jack Klugman and granddaughter, Veronica Holzheu. Survived by children, Kathleen (Terry) Klugman, Max C. (Kookie Schaper) Holzheu, Jr., Beverly (Al Peterson) Holzheu, Julia (Howard) Holzheu, John (Shirley Riordan) Holzheu, Jennifer (John) Wolfe, Valerie Moliter-Holzheu, Karen (Scott) Regan; 23 grandchildren; 9 great- grandchildren; brother-in-law, Don (Dolly) Holzheu; sister-in-law, Florence Holzheu. Special thanks to her niece Lorraine Green who helped her to remain at home, the befrienders, Coke, Bunny and Carol from the Church of the Good Shepherd, Mary from Fairview Home Infusion, Drs. David Joesting, Sean Anderson and the rest of the staff at Park Nicollet Clinic in Hopkins, Dr. Sarr and the caregivers from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and to the wonderful nurses and doctors in the Methodist Hospital I.C.U. Mass of Christian Burial Wed. 10 a.m. at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 145 Jersey Ave. S., Golden Valley. Interment Gethsemane Cemetery. Visitation Tues. 5-8 p.m. with prayer service at 7 p.m. at Gearty-Delmore Park Funeral Chapel, Wooddale at Excelsior Blvd., St. Louis Park and one hour prior to Mass at the Church.
