(nee Madritsch), loving father of Richard (Deborah), Jeffrey, Ronald (Andrea), James and the late Dennis Szilagyi, proud grandfather of Brandon, Michelle, Stephanie and Alex, dear brother of Rosa Rhoades, Mary Zachariason, and the late Steve Szilagyi. Lifetime member of Johnson-Phelps VFW Post 5220 and Kiwanis Golden K. Funeral Thursday, 9:30 a.m., from The Zimmerman & Sandeman Funeral Home, 5200 W. 95th St., to St. Gerald Church, Mass 10 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday, 3 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Info., 708-424-0340.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
