Alexander Trojanowski Obituary
Alexander T. "Troy" Trojanowski, 96, of Chicago, Illinois, passed at his home on September 27, 2025.
Alex was the beloved husband of 67 years to Diane [nee Thompson]. The cherished father of Karen [nee Trojanowski] Kozik and Mark (Lynne) Trojanowski, an adoring grandfather to Michael (Lindsay) Kozik, Nicholas (Jill) Trojanowski, Christina (Max) Wichmer and Elise (Tyler) Langosch, the great-grandfather to Bria, Callen, Kenna, Mykela, Madelyn, Mia, James and Logan. Uncle to many nieces and nephews and special godfather of Marge Garbacz.
Alex joins his parents Alexander Francis and Anna [Glowicki] Trojanowski and siblings, Thomas (Sophie) Trojanowski, Rose (John) Lupina, Andrew (Cecilia) Trojanowski and Irene (Bernard) Bonk in passing.
Alex spent over 35 illustrious years working as a tin plate supervisor with the American Can Company.
A visitation for Alex will be held at Ridge Funeral Home (6620 W. Archer Ave. Chicago, IL 60638) on Sunday, October 5th, 2025, between 4pm and 8pm. A funeral mass will take place at St. Daniel the Prophet Catholic Church (5300 S. Natoma Ave. Chicago, IL 60638) on Monday, October 6th, 2025, at 10am. A graveside service will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (7201 Archer Rd, Justice, IL 60458.)
