Pierog, Alexander A. beloved husband of Phyllis G. Pierog, dear father of Ronald Pierog, Claudia (Michael Yeager) Pierog, Karen Pierog and David Pierog, cherished grandfather of Leigh and Scott Pierog, fond brother of Adeline Purchase and Helen Palmer, loving uncle of many. Preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Kunegunda Pierog; brothers, Casimir and Edwin Pierog; and sister, Estelle Tomczyk. Visitation Wednesday, 3 to 9 p.m., at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd., at Northwestern Hwy., Mt. Prospect. Funeral Thursday, 9:15 a.m., from the funeral home to St. Zachary Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
