Thank you for being a good father-in-law to me but especially for being melissa's grandpa, she loves you very much. Thank you also for telling her you loved her. The things that I admired about Al was his knowledge of the world, his laughter, and most of all his dedication of education to others.

Al Magnus was like a second father to me. He was a man I greatly respected and admired. His love for his country, and his labors on behalf of freedom were second to none. A man of acute intellect and perception, he was an MIT graduate, entrepreneur, engineer, college physics teacher, adventurer, and, above all, a patriot. He gave unselfishly of his time, energy and hard-earned money to advance democracy and freedom.
Thank you, Al, for always supporting American Freedom beginning in WWII and for letting me help you preserve and protect our Liberty these past 15 years.

I was very saddened to hear of the death of Mr. Magnus. Although we had little contact in the recent past, he was an honorable and patriotic man, who I will remember fondly. I extend my condolences to his loving family.

I was saddened to hear of the death of Mr. Magnus. He was a strong believer in limited government and was unsparing in his support of those who also were committed to that same vision of our Founding Fathers. He will be missed.

Al Magnus was one of a kind: a true patriot, a kind, generous human being, and a champion of democracy. His efforts and ideals made a difference. He is irreplaceable.
