Skiba, Alex P. age 82, at rest October 8, 2004; U.S. Army Veteran WWII; beloved husband of the late Genevieve T. (nee Weglarz), loving father of Marianne Skiba, Barbara (Andy) Zadrazil, Thomas Skiba and David (Val) Skiba, dear brother of Ann Skiba, the late Helen Skiba and the late Walter (Rita) Skiba, grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of two. Visitation Wednesday, October 13th 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral service Thursday, 9:15 a.m. from Adolf-Berwyn Funeral Home, Ltd., 2921 S. Harlem Ave., Berwyn, to St. Pius X Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Shriners Hospitals for Children or the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated. My deepest sympathy to the entire Skiba family. I spent many great years working with Al at the CCFPD. We always had a great time working together in the office and shared a lot of laughs. I always kept him on his feet. May he rest in peace.
