Castle, Albert Leonard born November 4, 1931, passed on to be with his father, mother, brothers and sister on March 19, 2007. Beloved husband of Joan and father of Ralph, Josephine, Allen, Gary, Noreen and Richard, and grandfather to 15 loving grandchildren and one great-grandchild, son of Ralph and Josephine Castle, brother of John, Louis and Virginia. He served his country in The Korean War, was retired from Iron Workers Local 1 and was an avid golfer and sports fan. His presence will be dearly missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Visitation Wednesday, 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral service Thursday, 9:30 a.m., from Sax-Tiedemann Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9568 Belmont Ave., Franklin Park, to St. Beatrice Church for 10 a.m. Mass. hi al, i only knew you the past 4 years when i moved in to sun city, but we had a lot of laughs together. i'm really going to miss golfing with you and just hanging out at caspers. you were always the first to offer your help if needed and one of the most generous and toughest guys i know. you were a great family guy also. rest in piece my friend.
