Adolph Winter Obituary

Winter, Adolph F.H. Was born May 2, 1916, in Milwaukee, WI where he grew up and graduated from North Division High School, where he was a champion gymnast. He graduated from Normal College in Indianapolis and then moved to Chicago where he married Dorothea Holoubek. They moved to Skokie and raised a family. He was a lifelong Turner, and worked his entire life in Chicago, primarily at Sedwall Mfg. Co. After 1998 he lived with family in Wheaton, IL, Louisiana and Wisconsin. Adolph was an exceptional person intelligent, honest and very interesting. We worked together on several projects. We both worked on Ravenswood Avenue. I had the highest regard for Adolph.
