My best memory of my Godmother, Aunt Adeline,
She loved to sew out fits for Sandy and me. On a memorable day in the summer of 1971, Aunt Adeline took us to the Fabric Store to pick out a pattern of our choice. I selected a smock pattern and located the most perfect 1970's blue denim material with matching red buttons.
As I watched Aunt Adeline cut, sew and iron my smock with labor of love. I knew this was a memory I would never forget. I proudly wore my smock the first day of freshman year of high school. I received many compliments throughout the day and I silently thanked Aunt Adeline each time for making my day so special.
I fondly remember every time I put on the smock, it felt like Aunt Adeline was giving me a hug.

Aunt Adeline, I will dearly miss your witty charm and kind heart.
God bless your journey to heaven and give my best to my Dad, Leo.
Love your Godchild,
