Adeline Lintner Obituary

Lintner, Adeline Victoria (nee Piorkowski), age 81, passed away peacefully, at Brighton Gardens in Orland Park, with her family surrounding her. A 60 year resident of Orland Park. Beloved wife of 60 years to Stanley S. Lintner, cherished mother of Arlene (Thomas) DeHoff, devoted grandmother of DeAnna, dear daughter of the late Harriet (nee Radtke) and Alexander Piorkowski, loving sister of Mildred (the late Walter) Borg, cherished aunt of Walter (Sherrie) Borg, Bruce Borg and Charlotte (nee Borg) Beske, fondly remembered by many other relatives and friends. Visitation Tuesday, from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, 9:15 a.m., from the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st St., Orland Park, to St. Francis of Assisi Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Adeline was born in Chicago, an Alumna of Farnsworth Elementary and Taft High School, both in Chicago. She worked for the YMCA in Chicago, and Montgomery Wards in Evergreen Park. Adeline retired after working with her husband at Silvestri Art Corp. Over the years she was an active member of many clubs and organizations. She was an avid and talented crafter. She was also a volunteer at several organizations. Adeline loved classical music and going to the opera and the symphony.
