Dear Susan and family,

I am deeply saddened by the news of your mom's passing. She was a patient at the dental office I work at and I so enjoyed catching up with her about her many preschool stories, her children and grandchildren. She always asked about my children and she will be greatly missed. She had such a wonderful outlook on life and was truly a genuine and lovely woman. My hearfelt condolences to you all..

Dear Sue, Bette, Steve and family,

My mother and I are so sadden by the loss of Tootsie. We spoke to her last week and she sounded so happy and glad to be in her new residence.

As you know my mother and your mother became friends after going on a cruise over 40 years ago. My mother would often say how much she loved Toots and could not believe that you can stay so close to someone that you see so infrequently. Their bond was held together by many phone calls and cards. They truly loved each other.

May the wonderful memories you have of your mother get you through this difficult time. No matter what their age is when the go, it is never the right time.

All our love,
Shirlee and Patti Hoffman

Bette, Sue, Steve and family,
Tootsie (my dad called her that) was one in a million. She was a woman who was totally family-oriented and always smiling. I loved seeing her when she'd come into the store where I worked. After spending lots of time at your house as a kid, your mom was always one of my favorite moms. She will be remembered always.
Keep good thoughts.
Love,
Candi Glicken

I send my condolences on behalf of North Suburban Synagogue Beth El. Adele taught generations of students in our pre-school. She did so with love, care and great devotion. Nothing made Adele happier than seeing her old students return to visit her with their children. She will be missed but we will always remember her smile and her warm disposition.
Best wishes to the family.

Condolences from North Suburban Synagogue Beth El in Highland Park where Adele taught generations of young children in our pre school. She did so with love, care and great devotion. While she will be missed, her smile will always remain with us. Never was she happier than when she saw her young preschoolers grow up and have their own children and come back to greet her.
Best wishes to the family.

I have wonderful memories of being welcome in your home as a teenager(!)and as a young adult --

I have always heard of the many gifts that she brought to the children fortunate enough to have her as their first professional teacher.

And, she was lucky to have you -- who, with great love and dedication cared for her so beautifully.

You are in my thoughts.

Adele was an amazing & wonderful friend to our Mom, Hilda, for probably over 80 years! Mom is heart-broken to lose her. They shared so many, many memories over the years. Adele remembered every birthday with a sweet card and was always there to support Hilda when her health started to fail. She will be missed greatly. Our condolences to all her children and grandchildren - The Eisenberg Girls

I had the privelige of working with Adele for 17 years. Adele was a lovely, warm , kind, and caring master teacher who lioved each child and family in her care. As the director of the Steinberg Pre School. I watched Adele welcome each child and family into her heart! Everyone who had the privilege of having her teach their children loved Adele instantly . She had a way of speaking to the children with warmth and respect. She truly was a blessing ! Parents would request her classes and even sign up only to have Mrs. Wallerstein begin their school journey.
I learned much from Adele and remember her with love. I often told Adele that I would love to come back as a child in her care!!
Sending love, and lots of great memories . I was lucky to have known and loved her.
Adele's loss leaves the world s little less bright... But her goodness will shine over us all.
My deepest condolences to her dear children and grandchildren . You were blessed to have her in your lives.
Fondly
