Dearest Dad,
It's been almost a year...and not a day goes by that I don't still miss you. I think of you and your "Zip-edee-doo-dah" outlook on life--as well as the countless other gifts in life you left us with.
I hope your heaven is filled with golf, pinnocle, fishing and lots of desserts!
I know that you are here in spirit; I've felt your guidance but it doesn't make missing you any less. Our family is not the same without you.
Thank you for being the best dad any girl could've had--no one could hold a candle to you. YOU ARE THE BEST. I love you, always.

Carol, Jean, Mark and Mary,
I am so sorry. I wish I had known. I would have flown up for the service. I loved Adam dearly. He always provided fond memories of my childhood.

We are so very sorry to hear about Adam's passing. He and Jeanne were wonderful next door neighbors on 56th & Merrimac Ave. We would have liked to deliver this condolence in person, but unfortunately we also have had a recent death in our family, whose memorial will take us out of town on Sunday. Our sympathy to Jeanne, and Adam's extended family.

I have not seen Adam in a long time, but I still have fond memories of him.He lived in my parents home for a short while in the early 50's that is when our family got to know Adam he was always kind and made you laugh.I can see why he will be missed by everyone.

I'm going to miss you dad. Officially you were my father in law but for half my life you were my dad. I remember us having our talk and you telling me I had better take good care of your daughter. I hope I met your expectations. Remember when you taught me to hang wall paper and it was upside down. When we went golfing and spent most of our game in the weeds and trees or when you took me and Dom fishing in the boat and we spent most of the time trying to get the boat in and out of the water. You were my teacher as well. I never knew what a manatee was until you took us to see them, how to grow tomatoes, or how to really decorate for Christmas. Thanks Dad. I will really miss you and don't worry, I'll take care of your daughter.
Love,
Steve

Papa -- we will all miss you. I am so glad to have been able to learn the words to Zip-A-Dee-Do-Dah with you. I can never watch Mary Poppins and not think of you and the many times we watched it together. We will have to train someone new to take over asking "When's dessert?" after every holiday meal. I can just go on and on with the fantastic memories I have of our time together. I WILL MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU, PAPA!

Adam was one of the most sweetest and thoughtful man I have ever known. He was always there to give me a compliment which always made my day. I'm so thankful my dad and I got to see him before he went to Chicago. He will forever be in my heart.
