Adam Brenner Obituary

Adam you are still and always will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I knew Adam from College. He had a wicked sense of humor and was to the core, a really nice and decent person to be with. My condolences go out to the Brenner's and the Ackerman's. Adam, I hope you find the finest of comforts on the other side. Peace to you my friend.

I miss Adam so much!! He was a great friend! He came to Hilander every day to buy his older cat, Zeek, lunch meat from the deli for him. He said that "Moose" liked cat food. We always talked about out cats. We became good friends, and he was always so kind to me. I will never forget him!! My thoughts and prayers are with you!! May Adam rest in peace with both Zeek and Moose.

I MET ADAM A FEW MONTHS AGO. I HIRED HIM TO REPRESENT ME IN A CASE. HE WAS A VERY GOOD LAWYER. I WAS SO SHOCK TO HEAR OF HIS PASSING. MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO HIS FAMILY.

Nicole, I know that you were close and worked for him for a long time, I am sorry for your loss and the loss of Adam's family. If you need anything please let me know. May he rest in peace.

I am very sorry for your loss. Adam was such an amazing person. He was my great friend, confidant, teacher and hero. Whenever I was down he could bring me back with his wit and smile. I feel so fortunate that he graced us with his presence on Halloween. I will forever remember him sitting next to me with a joke and a grin. His energy will be with us forever.

To Adam's family and friends, our deepest condolences for your loss of a wonderful son and friend of many. Adam provided with intellengence and compassion legal assistance to our beloved friend who passed away in January of 2011. Throughout our friend's many court proceedings, Adam was always comforting and, with wit and humor, always couseling with the hope that situations could improve. He was truly a friend to those seeking legal representation. We have been greatly touched by Adam's generous spirit. May you be forever comforted and sustained by loving memories.

Marty I am sorry for the loss of your son. Despite never having met Adam I knew how proud you were of him and how much he meant to you. I am quite certain Adam knew this as well.

My step-mother and I are closer than any mother and daughter
I've ever known--she is suffering and I am a thousand miles
Away. I cannot touch her, nor can I hug or hold her.
Though we talk every day, I feel the immensity of her pain
as it searches for reason like a hungry child for a teat.
Her son has died, her only child
Has died.
He was supposed to come for lunch, Adam was, but he never
Called, he couldn't—that's not like him, something's wrong—
she knew, she knew like a mother knows—umbilical-knowing
shared only by mother and child, shared only by this mother and
this child on this day when he was supposed to come for lunch—but
didn't.
Late in the night the light flickered in Allan's den, the light that's always
On—like a star it flickered a purposful dance before it suddenly went out.
In a moment the globe was ice cold—Adam left as resolutely
as he had come….
Adam should be home immersed in history, or in court, or out
rescuing damsels in distress, but he's not—he's not hiking trails
nor is he coming to lunch, no, but he is here, there, everywhere;
he is a part of everyone; he is everyplace at once—
he is one with the Universe.
He is guide, nurturer, whisperer of all--

I believe that Mr.Brenner was a God send in my sons life. After my son made some poor decisions in his life, Mr. Brenner was led to us where he helped my son in his situation. We are forever grateful! Although we never knew him personally, he seemed to have a kind heart. Mr. Brenners last words to us was"Go with God"

Dear Ghia and Marty, Our hearts go out to you. There are no words of comfort that would ever say enough. Adam was a delightful young man and we were pleased to have seen him recently. We send much love to you.

I already miss the banter about 'borrowing' the BMW for special events. It's hard to come to work and not see you in the elevator, walking to/from court. You will be missed and your memory will always remain. May your family find the comfort they need to get them through this difficult time.
