Meyer, Abby Mandel (nee Evarts), beloved wife of Adolph "Bunny" Meyer Jr., dear mother of John (Jill) Mandel and Holly (David) Sherr, loving grandmother of Jeremy and Jake Mandel, Matthew, Emily, Hannah and Julia Sherr, fond sister of the late Richard (Carol) Evarts and Tom (Kay) Evarts. Services Friday, 1 p.m., at North Shore Cong. Israel, 1185 Sheridan Rd., Glencoe, IL. Private Interment at Rosehill Cemetery. My condolences on your loss - Abby was a wonderful teacher and I have fond memories and fabulous recipes from her classes (and newspaper column) taken long ago. She had such wonderful sense of taste. She inspired many and accomplished so much with the green city market.
