Aaron Elster was a very good man, he talked in my middle school Oak Prairie last year, It was very interesting to listen to his stories and going to the Holocaust Museum. It's very heartbreaking that he is passed, but his stories will live on forever in history.

Mr. Elster was an inspiration to all my students at West Aurora High School. He telling his story was so moving that made me a better teacher because my students want to change the world. We all will miss you. Thank God we have you in hologram form. Joseph Sustersic

Dear Elster Family,
I am sorry to hear of your family's loss. Your husband and father made an impression on the staff and students of Johnsburg Junior High when he spoke to us during a Holocaust presentation. May God's peace be with you all during this difficult time.

I'm truly sorry for your loss. It is never easy when someone you love falls asleep in death. I hope the words of the Jewish profit Isaiah at 41:10 Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.

During 2000, my wife and I invited Aaron to speak to our students at the College of Lake County. We asked him to speak to a class of about 30 people. That morning, nearly 250 people showed up to hear Aaron speak as word had spread at the school. When we met Aaron at the door, we informed him of the large crowd. He said he was used to speaking more to small high school student groups and was a bit nervous. He shouldn't have been. That day, he delivered a beautiful message about love and the dangers of hatred. For more than an hour, there was not a sound in the auditorium as Aaron told his story. There are many hearts and minds he affected that day and his words are remembered by my family to this day. Thank you Aaron for all that you did to make the world a better place.
