A. Berger Obituary
He was born on June 24, 1915 at Turon, Kansas. On December 5, 1936, he was married to Helen Lamont Berger who preceded him in death on June 5, 1997. On August 12, 1998, he was married to Joyce Loveless Clark.
He was an avid ham radio operator and member of the Hot Springs Amateur Radio Club. He was a member of the National Park Christian Church, and a member of the H. A. McFarland Masonic Lodge #1338 in Odessa, Texas for fifty-five years.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Berger of Hot Springs; his son and daughter-in-law, Art and Vernita Berger of Tybee Island, Georgia; his two grandsons, Lee Berger of Johannesburg, South Africa and Monty Berger of Atlanta, Georgia; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 27, 2003 in the National Park Christian Church with Rev. Bill McWha and Rev. Bob Parks officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday, 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
Interment will be in Turon Cemetery, Turon, Kansas under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
Pallbearers will be George Jones, Doug Berger, Joe Gross, Doug Actchley, Lee Berger and Monty Berger.

I am very sorry to hear of Mr. A.B.'s death. A few years ago I worked for the doctor's office that he and Ms. Helen used. I loved his smile and the jokes that he would tell every time he came in. He was very proud of his son and grandsons. He loved to brag.
I have received a Christmas card from him every year since 1996. Thank you Joyce for continuing to put me on your list.
I will always think of him fondly and wanted to share a few thoughts with you.
