Marvin A. Suratos, 75, died in October 2021. He was the son of Teofilo D. Suratos and Ethel U. Suratos. His wife Lorraine preceded him in death. A native of Chicago, Marvin attended Darwin Elementary, Lane Tech High School, and Roosevelt University. He worked as an accountant, hospital administrator, and courier. Marvin loved dogs and spending time with Lorraine on Mackinac Island. He thrived on listening to jazz. He was a gentle, unassuming, and polite human being. Marvin is survived by many loving cousins. Services have been held. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to WBEZ or WTTW. For information, contact Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 847-256-5700.
